Michael Flores began their work experience as an Engineering Intern at Kimley-Horn in June 2014. After completing their internship, they joined the City of Richardson Texas in April 2017 as a Graduate Engineer. Michael worked in this role until November 2020, after which they were promoted to Development Engineer within the same company. In August 2015, Michael started working as a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn, and they held this position until March 2017.

Michael Flores attended Stanford University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their degree, they obtained an Engineer in Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in August 2015. Subsequently, in October 2020, Michael obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
