Tammy Petty, PMP, has a broad range of work experience spanning various industries. Since 2020, they have been working as an I.T. Project Analyst at the City of Richardson Texas. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2020, they served as an I.T. Support Specialist at the Richardson Police Department.
From 2006 to 2013, Tammy worked at LegacyTexas Bank, where they held two roles. As a Card Services Specialist (2012-2013), they investigated debit card fraud and assisted customers with their banking needs. As a Help Desk Coordinator (2006-2012), they managed the I.T. Help Desk and provided support to customers, employees, and vendors.
Before joining LegacyTexas Bank, Tammy worked at Air Wisconsin Airlines as a Help Desk Analyst II (2004-2006), providing excellent customer service and I.T. support for Help Desk calls. Prior to that, they were an Administrative Assistant at Kimberly-Clark (2002-2004), where they provided support to a team, updated websites and databases, and managed schedules and travel arrangements.
Tammy's earliest work experience was as an Office Manager at Appleton Alliance Church (1995-2002), where they managed a support staff, handled accounts payable and receivables, and tracked and receipted church attendees' giving.
Tammy Petty, PMP, earned their Bachelor's degree in Communications from Moody Bible Institute, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the Cybersecurity Awareness Training certification from ESET North America in January 2018. Furthermore, Tammy recently achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2022.
