Tim Schuurman has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Tim began their career as a Wireless Network Engineer at E-Rev Technologies in 2004 and later joined Palm Harbor Homes as a Helpdesk Technician in 2005. At Palm Harbor Homes, they were responsible for diagnosing and resolving Level I & II issues, troubleshooting printer problems, PC hardware/software issues, and coordinating repairs for computer equipment.

In 2008, Tim moved on to work as a Network Technician for the Town of Flower Mound, where they focused on managing network infrastructure. Tim then joined Denco Area 911 District in 2009 as a 911 Systems Technician, where they worked until 2016. During their time at Denco Area 911 District, they gained experience in managing emergency communication systems.

Tim's next role was as an I.T. Specialist at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2016 to 2019. Here, they provided IT support and maintained the university's technology infrastructure.

Currently, Tim serves as an Information Technology Specialist at the City of Richardson Texas, a position they have held since 2019. In this role, they utilize their expertise in IT to support and maintain the city's information technology systems.

Tim Schuurman attended DeVry University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Network and Communications Management.
