Utility Superintendent at City of Richfield

Butch Lupkes currently serves as the Utility Superintendent for the City of Richfield, a position held since September 1999, overseeing a 14 million gallons per day lime softening water treatment plant and managing a team of six full-time employees, along with the maintenance of seven wells and two water towers. Prior to this role, Butch Lupkes gained experience as a Senior Utility Mechanic with the Minnesota Army National Guard from 1983 to 2005 and as Maintenance Section Chief at Hohn Imp. Inc. from 1986 to 1999. Education includes a degree in mechanics with a specialization as a Farm Diesel Mechanic from South West VoTech, attained between 1983 and 1985.
