John Deskins

John Deskins is an experienced traffic engineer with a strong background in transportation systems and project management. Currently serving as a Traffic Engineer for the City of Richland since August 2017, responsibilities include overseeing the city's traffic control systems, as well as assisting in the planning and development of transportation projects. Prior experience includes managing the Traffic & Transportation System for the City of Kennewick from February 2004 to July 2017 and positions at Northwest Signal Supply and CH2M HILL. John Deskins began their career in the US Navy as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer from 1990 to 1994. Academic credentials include an M.S. in Transportation Engineering and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, both from Oregon State University.
