Jonathan Swanson is an experienced Engineering Technician III with a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and project management. Since June 2017, Swanson has been with the City of Richland, focusing on the administration and maintenance of the enterprise GIS for the Energy Services department. Prior to this, Jonathan worked for the Municipality of Anchorage, where responsibilities included project management, GIS utility mapping, and inspections of electrical systems. Earlier roles included serving as a GIS Technician at GCI, managing GIS tasks related to telecommunications infrastructure, and as a Mapping/GIS Representative at Accupoint, specializing in GPS and GIS software training and support. Jonathan's educational background includes attendance at East High School in Anchorage, Alaska.
