Scott Hanks

Scott Hanks is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as an Electrical Distribution Engineer I at the City of Richland since January 2022. Scott has a diverse background in electrical engineering, previously holding positions at Benton PUD where responsibilities included system engineering, substation design, and protective device coordination. Prior experience includes roles at Alliance Machine Systems, Honda of America, and internships at various organizations where Scott developed skills in power system modeling and design analysis. Scott also dedicated over 13 years to a Christian ministry as a volunteer Bible teacher and pastor, engaging with diverse audiences and managing significant events. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
