Ishoc Salaam

Ishoc Salaam serves as the Senior Capital Projects Manager for the City of Richmond, Virginia, since October 2015, overseeing the City Sidewalk Program with a budget of $10 million and successfully enhancing project production significantly over four years. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Manager, where multiple federally and state-funded transportation projects were managed, and as an Integrity Management Engineer, focused on maintaining compliance with federal integrity management programs. Ishoc also has experience as a Gas Distribution Project Engineer, managing substantial capital projects, and began a career as a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. Ishoc holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.
