Nichole Armstead

Nichole Armstead, PMP, MGT, serves as the City Treasurer for the City of Richmond, Virginia, since January 2018, where leadership is provided to the Office of Financial Empowerment, expanding financial resources and services for the community. As a freelance Project Manager and Facilitator since March 2011, Nichole leads projects through the entire life cycle, ensuring risk mitigation and strategic insights for complex initiatives. Previously, Nichole held the position of IT Client Services Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond from October 1998 to December 2016, overseeing IT initiatives, training staff, and enhancing process improvements. Nichole holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
