Ava Koonar

Ava Koonar is a skilled Registered Nurse at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver since May 2018, bringing a dedicated approach to pediatric care. Alongside this role, Koonar has been a Lifeguard/Instructor 1 for the City of Richmond since April 2009. Previous experience includes positions as an Administrative Assistant with the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association, and a Medical Receptionist at Crown St Medical Centre. Koonar has also contributed as a Head Coach and Coach for Richmond Kigoos Summer Swim Club and worked as an Au Pair with AuPairWorld. Earlier in a collegiate capacity, Koonar served as a Minor Official and Intramural Referee at McGill University. Koonar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Political Science, and Psychology from McGill University and a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
