Previously, Hashir held roles at the Vancouver Economic Commission, advancing from Economic Transformation Analyst to Manager of Economic Transformation | Innovation & Capital, where efforts focused on creating sustainable innovation ecosystems and managing significant programs like Angels for Climate Solutions. Additional experience includes consulting for ISM Arts & Culture and involvement in projects at TD and Westside Seniors Hub. Hashir holds a Master of Management from UBC Sauder School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of British Columbia.
