Heather Murray is an experienced educator and instructor with a diverse background in teaching and leadership. Currently serving as a Secondary School Teacher at Surrey Schools since April 2018, Murray has also held positions such as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor for the City of Richmond since April 2012 and a Student Teacher at Simon Fraser University from September 2017 to April 2018. Additionally, Murray was an Executive Member with the Simon Fraser Student Society, focusing on Chemistry, and worked as a Server at White Spot. Educational qualifications include a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Special Education and Teaching, a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, all from Simon Fraser University, along with additional coursework at The University of British Columbia.
