Melanie Sy is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in physical and health education. Currently serving as a Physical and Health Education Teacher with the Vancouver School Board since January 2018, Melanie has also contributed to the City of Richmond as an Auxiliary Lifeguard/Instructor since 2006. Prior to these roles, Melanie worked as a Teacher Teaching On Call (TTOC) for Langley School District #35 from October 2014 to January 2018. Melanie's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Douglas College (2018-2020), a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Middle Years from the University of British Columbia (2013-2014), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Douglas College (2010-2012).
