Reena Clarkson

Reena Clarkson is an experienced communications and event planning professional with a diverse background in public service and private sector roles. Currently serving as a Communications Associate for the City of Richmond since May 2016, Reena has held various positions including Corporate Assistant in the CAO's Office and Election Communications Officer. Previous experience includes owning and managing Clarkson Events from January 2014 to January 2022, and coordinating special events for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Reena's extensive career at the City of Richmond spanned over a decade, during which multiple roles were undertaken, from Cultural Programmer to Auxiliary Attendant. Educationally, Reena holds an Event Planning & Marketing Associate Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a BA in Film, English, and Psychology from the University of British Columbia, among other qualifications.
