Riya Kainth is an experienced Lifeguard and Swim Instructor currently employed with the City of Surrey and the City of Richmond since 2022. Responsibilities include supervising swimmers, enforcing facility policies, conducting safety checks, and providing swimming instruction. Previously, Riya co-founded Flax Pax, a student-led company specializing in natural hot and cold packs, serving as President and effectively managing a team of ten members. Riya also has experience as a Sales Associate at TJX Canada, where customer service and sales transactions were key duties. Riya is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Commerce degree at UBC Sauder School of Business and is a graduate of Burnaby Central Secondary School.
