Kelly Carlson

Kelly Carlson has extensive experience in urban planning and building code compliance, currently serving as City Planner and Building Plans Examiner for the City of Roanoke since December 2017 and concurrently as Plans Examiner for the City of Roanoke, TX since September 2014. Previously, Kelly worked as Plans Examiner for the Town of Prosper from March to September 2014 and held the same title at the City of Denton for nearly a decade from 2005 to 2014. Prior roles include administrative support at American Leak Detection and a career break as a stay-at-home mom, along with experience as Meeting Planner Coordinator for BeautiControl and Dispatcher at CBS Mechanical, Inc. Kelly's educational background includes training from ICC Trainings and the Building Professional Institute.
