Charlene Wheeler

Charlene Wheeler is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in network management and technology support. Currently serving as IT Manager for the City of Roanoke, VA since February 2017, Charlene has also held the position of Network Technician. Prior experience includes working as an Independent Consultant for Thirty-One Gifts and serving as Network Manager at Anderson & Associates, Inc. from November 1996 to December 2016, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive IT support, network/system administration, help desk operations, vendor relations, project planning, software licensing, and network installations. Charlene holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned between 1994 and 1999, with earlier education at Wytheville Community College.
