Ryan Yetzer has a diverse work experience in the field of community and economic development. Ryan started their career as a City Administration Intern at the City of Rochester, MN in 2014, where they gained knowledge in municipal fiscal management and participated in meetings related to economic development and land use. Ryan then worked as a Grants Information Specialist at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined (CEDA) Community and Economic Development Associates as a Community & Business Development Specialist. From 2017 to 2019, Ryan worked as a Planner at Olmsted County Minnesota, focusing on long-range planning, GIS planning analysis, and updating comprehensive plans and zoning codes. Currently, they hold the position of Community Development Deputy Director at the City of Rochester, MN, where they develop and leads strategic plans for development services and infrastructure, implements integrated development and construction services processes, and facilitates Development & Construction Services Commission meetings.

Ryan Yetzer completed their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from St. Cloud State University from 2011 to 2015.
