Leslie Galvez

Leslie Galvez is a dedicated community engagement and outreach professional with experience in coordinating programs and fostering partnerships within local communities. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina, since April 2022, Galvez manages a civics course aimed at enhancing community relations. Previously held roles include Community Outreach Coordinator at Path Light Pro and various positions at Loyola University of New Orleans, where responsibilities encompassed student advisement and event promotion. Galvez's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Loyola University New Orleans, complemented by research experience in aquatic ecosystems at Clemson University and independent research on invertebrate communities in vertical gardens at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
