Sherrell Woods

Sherrell Woods is a dedicated professional with a background in law enforcement and youth development. Since March 2017, Sherrell has served as a Police Officer for the City of Rockford, Illinois. Prior to this role, Sherrell worked as a Youth Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois from November 2016 to March 2017, focusing on helping students aged 17-24 attain their GED and providing career readiness training. Additionally, Sherrell served as a Circuit Clerk for Winnebago County from November 2015 to November 2016. Sherrell holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Rockford University, earned between 2012 and 2015, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Rock Valley College, obtained from 2010 to 2012.
