We’re the home of Jane, the world’s most complete and best preserved juvenile T.rex, at the Burpee Museum of Natural History; Anderson Japanese Gardens; the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Laurent House;  some of the best & most affordable golf in the Midwest; and Rockford City Market, which features local growers, vendors, live music & demonstrations. The Information Technology team at the City of Rockford, Illinois, ensures the seamless operation and security of the city's vast digital infrastructure. From maintaining and supporting 911 emergency systems to analyzing and optimizing IT processes, the team plays a crucial role in enabling city employees to deliver essential public services efficiently. Led by the Director of Information Technology, the team also implements innovative solutions to enhance public safety, improve community engagement, and support the city's strategic initiatives in infrastructure and economic development.
