Chantay Chia

Chantay Chia is a seasoned librarian with extensive experience in young people's services and community engagement. Currently serving as the Young People's Services Librarian for the City of Rockingham since September 2020, Chantay previously held roles as Community Liaison Librarian at the State Library of Western Australia for a brief period in 2020, and as both Digital Communications Consultant and Literacy Development Officer at the City of Mandurah from May 2015 to August 2020. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies from Curtin University, a Master of Education in Literacy from Edith Cowan University, and a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education, also from Edith Cowan University.
