Amanda Smigelsky-Knox is an experienced event professional with a strong background in planning and coordinating festivals and fundraising events. Currently serving as Special Events Coordinator for the City of Rockville since June 2013, Amanda oversees eleven annual events attracting over 250,000 attendees and manages social media marketing for key city festivals. Previously, Amanda worked as Event and Marketing Manager at Easter Seals Central and Southeast Ohio, where responsibilities included managing annual fundraising events, securing sponsorships, and overseeing event logistics. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Director of Events at Parkhurst Dining Services and Event Assistant at the City of Dublin Events Administration, where skills in client relations, budgeting, and marketing were further developed. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University.
