Amy Gifford Williams has a comprehensive work experience in the field of engineering. Amy started their career as an Engineer at Hunter in 1996, followed by a role as an Engineer at PBS&J in 1997. Amy then worked at Douphrate and Associates as an Engineer from 1998 to 2003. Amy joined the City of Rockwall in 2003, where they held various positions including Engineer, Assistant City Engineer, and currently serves as the Director of Public Works & City Engineer.

Amy Gifford Williams attended Tyler Junior College from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Amy then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from 1992 to 1995.
