Eric Van Oss, AICP, serves as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Rosemount since August 2019, focusing on economic development marketing and investment attraction. Previous roles include Manager of Planning & Permitting at WD Partners, where responsibilities encompassed project liaison and compliance reviews, and Development Specialist for the State of Alaska, promoting growth in the minerals industry. Eric's experience also includes positions with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, Institute of the North, and as a Special Assistant to US Senator Lisa Murkowski. Educational qualifications include a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Environment, Economics, Politics from Claremont McKenna College. Eric has also engaged in research and analysis related to global health and the oil and gas sector.
