Austin Ellington

Austin Ellington is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a focus on public engagement and information strategy. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing for the City of Round Rock since July 2015, Austin previously worked as a Public Affairs Specialist and Governmental Affairs Assistant at The University of Texas System. Additional roles include Graduate Associate in Media Relations at the City of Austin Communication and Public Information Office, and an internship in Legislative Communications at the Texas House of Representatives. Austin also has experience as a Volunteer Coordinator Intern for the Colorado River Watch Network and as a Mac Specialist at Apple Retail. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Government and Political Communications from St. Edward's University and a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Affairs from Texas State University.
