Sara Bustilloz

Sara Bustilloz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sara currently serves as the Communications and Marketing Director for the City of Round Rock, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing for the same organization from February 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining the City of Round Rock, Sara worked as the Public Information Officer for the Pflugerville Police Department, where they directed media efforts and public communications. Sara also produced written materials and graphics about agency news, programs, and events, and developed publicity activities to raise awareness for Police Department activities, services, and programs.

Sara's previous experience includes roles as a Public Information Officer for the City of Midland from December 2012 to July 2017 and as a Reporter for the Midland Reporter-Telegram from January 2011 to November 2012. Sara has also served as a Global Mission Short-Term Recruiter and a Global Mission Volunteer for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
