Ash Roughani

Ash Roughani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public policy, economic development, and innovation management. Currently serving as the Special Projects Manager for the City of Sacramento, Roughani oversees citywide performance measures and grants management. Previous roles include Project Manager and Innovation Specialist within the Office of Innovation & Economic Development, where significant contributions were made to inclusive economic development and COVID-19 relief programs. Experience also includes founding an early-stage enterprise software startup, leading product development at Sac2050, and advancing governance reform policies at California Forward. Roughani holds an MPPA from California State University-Sacramento and a BA in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara, enhancing a robust background in strategic planning and civic engagement initiatives.
