James H.

James H. has extensive experience in policy, communications, and advocacy within public service and private sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Policy and Communications for Councilmembers Roger Dickinson and Shoun Thao in the City of Sacramento, James also holds positions as Principal Advisor for the Capitol Creative Alliance and Secretary to the Board at the Del Paso Boulevard Partnership. Previous roles include account executive at Lucas Public Affairs, senior associate at the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, and public relations manager for a Sacramento City Council campaign. James earned a Master of Social Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA, along with a high school diploma from Natomas Charter School.
