Jon Mills

Jon Mills is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and sustainable waste management, currently serving as an Engineering Assistant for the City of Salmon Arm since March 2020, focusing on waste management oversight and municipal engineering support. Prior roles include work as a Waste Auditor & Operations Support at Waste Reduction Group Inc. and a Curbside Collection Services Assistant at the City of Salmon Arm, where significant achievement in waste diversion was noted. Educational background includes a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Waste Management from Fleming College and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Jon Mills also has extensive experience in application development and enterprise architecture from previous roles at LafargeHolcim and CRH Canada, as well as hands-on project engineering experience with Dufferin Construction Company. Further studies are being pursued at Simon Fraser University.
