Lester Kent

Lester Kent is a seasoned fire safety professional with extensive experience in fire inspection and firefighting operations. Currently serving as a Fire Inspector for the City of San Angelo since June 2023, Lester brings nearly two decades of military expertise from the US Army, where roles included Fire Inspector Course Instructor, Army Fire Chief, and Safety Officer, among others. Additionally, Lester owned and operated Layla’s Cajun Kitchen, a mobile food truck, from April 2012 to June 2023. Educational credentials include multiple associate degrees in Fire Science, Educational/Instructional Technology, and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force, as well as certifications from the Louis F. Garland Fire Academy.
