Eric G. Burns

Eric G. Burns has extensive legal experience, currently serving as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of San Antonio since September 2006. Prior to this role, Eric G. Burns was employed as In House Counsel for the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners from November 2005 to June 2006. Educationally, Eric G. Burns holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law, earned between 1997 and 2000, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from St. Edward's University, obtained from 1992 to 1996, along with bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching and in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same institution.
