Franklin Buckholdt

Franklin Buckholdt is a Cyber Security Engineer II with the City of San Antonio since October 2021, having previously served as an Information Technology Security Analyst. Responsibilities include proposing improvements and implementing enterprise-wide security standards while conducting security analyses to identify gaps. Prior to this role, Franklin Buckholdt worked at Enlightened, Inc. as a Tier 1 Lead Application Support Analyst and Helpdesk Technician, managing incident tracking and providing support for issues. Experience also includes serving as a Security Officer with Allied Universal, where responsibilities involved monitoring access control and maintaining security systems. Franklin Buckholdt is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology Management from Western Governors University, following the attainment of an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Northwest Vista College.
