Joel Jenks

Joel Jenks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public administration, currently serving as the Training and Engagement Administrator for the City of San Antonio since April 2006. In this role, Joel leads the training and engagement initiatives for approximately 13,000 employees, overseeing over 1,000 participants annually in new employee orientation and customer service training. Previous positions include Executive Recruiter, Clinic Manager for the City’s Animal Care Clinic, and various budget-related roles where Joel contributed to the development of significant municipal budgets and financial reporting. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University and participation in the Harvard City Leadership Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School.
