John Dugan

John Dugan currently serves as the Director of Planning and Community Development for the City of San Antonio, a role undertaken since January 2012, overseeing various aspects of land use planning and community development. Prior to this position, John held multiple directorial roles, including Director of Planning and Development for the City of Fresno and Director of Planning and Development for the City of Oklahoma City, where responsibilities encompassed zoning, urban design, and federal housing programs. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Director of Planning for the City of Los Angeles and directing the Topeka and Shawnee County Metropolitan Planning Commission. Education includes a Master of City Planning from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Tulane University.
