Juany Torres

Juany Torres has extensive experience in community engagement and policy advising, currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor and Director of Community Engagement for the City of San Antonio since June 2017. Prior to this role, Juany held positions as Deputy Campaign Manager for the Ron for Mayor campaign and founded Organize SA. With significant contributions to electoral efforts, Juany worked as Deputy Digital Director for the Hillary for America/Nevada State Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, where effective outreach was conducted within Latino communities. Juany's background includes community organizing with Hillary for America, and project management for Google's Hispanic Heritage Month campaign, demonstrating a strong commitment to Latino advocacy and community service throughout various roles. Education credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Stanford University and Valedictorian honors from McCollum High School.
