Lenny Irwin

Lenny Irwin, MAS, CSHS, currently serves as the Airport Safety Manager at San Antonio International Airport, overseeing the Safety Management System (SMS) Program. With extensive experience in aviation safety and operations, Lenny has held significant roles including the Aviation Operations - Safety Management Program Manager at Northrop Grumman Vinnell Arabia and Airport Facilities Manager at the City of San Antonio's DEPT OF AVIATION. Prior to these positions, Lenny had a distinguished 28-year career in the US Army, serving in multiple safety and aviation roles, including Safety Director and AH-64 Pilot. Lenny holds a Master's degree in Aviation Management and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, complemented by specialized safety training from the US Army Combat Readiness Center.
