Maria Rojas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational and human services roles. Currently serving as a Social Emotional Learning Specialist for the City of San Antonio since August 2022, Maria also holds the position of Emergency Case Manager with BCFS Health & Human Services, a role undertaken since July 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Bilingual Teacher at Northside ISD from July 2016 to July 2022 and at San Antonio ISD from July 2014 to July 2016. Maria began their career as a Corps Member with Teach For America from May 2014 to June 2016 and previously worked as a Cashier Customer Service at H-E-B from June 2010 to November 2015. Maria Rojas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from St. Mary's University in May 2014.
