Luoya Tu is an experienced architectural professional currently serving as a Design Review Commissioner for the City of San Gabriel since May 2019. As the Founder of Epilocus make your place since October 2018 and Co-Founder/Design Director of Archimorphic since November 2015, Luoya Tu demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit and leadership in innovative design. Previous roles include Vice President/Design Director at amphibianArc, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing firm operations and ensuring project delivery, and Project Manager/Office Manager at MADA s.p.a.m., focusing on project coordination and site management. Early career experience includes positions at Studios Architecture and CCDI Beijing, supporting high-end residential projects and leading design teams for competitive bids. Luoya Tu holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree from Tianjin University.

The City is governed by a five-member City Council whose members are elected by the citizens of San Gabriel.
