Marlon Cervantes is a knowledgeable urban planner and educator with significant experience in various planning roles. Currently serving as a Lecturer at California State University, Northridge since January 2024, Marlon has also held positions as an Associate Planner and previously Assistant Planner with the City of San Gabriel since November 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Planner for the City of San Marino and a Planning Technician for the City of Lancaster. Home to a population of more than 42,000, San Gabriel is 4.09 square miles with a diverse population of Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian, and other ethnic groups. The City is governed by a five-member City Council whose members are elected by the citizens of San Gabriel.
