David Vossbrink

David Vossbrink, APR, Fellow PRSA, serves as a Communications Counsel at David Vossbrink since 2017, specializing in strategic communications, media relations, crisis communications, and public policy. Vossbrink also contributes as a Writing Trainer and Coach for the City of San José and as a Media Trainer for CAL OES California Specialized Training Institute. Previous roles include Director of Communications for the City of San José (2012-2017), Communications Director at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (2007-2012), and Communications Director and Press Secretary for the City of San José under Mayor Ron Gonzales (1999-2006). Early experience includes positions as Community Relations Officer for the City of Sunnyvale and Community Relations Manager at National Semiconductor. Vossbrink began a career in community organizing as a VISTA member and holds an AB in History with Honors from Stanford University, along with accreditation in Public Relations from PRSA.
