J. Josh Guevara

J. Josh Guevara currently serves as the Deputy Director of Public Works for the City of San José, overseeing Development Services and Engineering Services with a workforce of over 150 employees, managing significant projects including Google’s Downtown West campus and the Valley Transportation Authority’s BART Phase II expansion. Previously, as the Broadband and Emerging Technologies Manager, J. Josh Guevara played a pivotal role in one of the nation's largest 5G small cell deployments and launched the Digital Inclusion Fund to address the digital divide. Other notable positions include Development Director at Santa Cruz Community Health Centers, Economic Development and Broadband Manager for the City of Santa Cruz, and various academic roles at UC Santa Cruz. J. Josh Guevara holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Literature and has completed the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
