Jill North Mariani

Jill North Mariani is an experienced professional with a strong background in innovation and technology management. As the Innovation and New Technology Program Manager for the City of San José since March 2017, Mariani developed and implemented the city's Autonomous Vehicle Program, establishing a framework for collaboration with industry partners and navigating regulatory environments. Mariani also created an "Innovation Project Lifecycle Framework" for the Department of Transportation and secured grant funding for data analytics tools. Prior to the current role, Mariani served as a Program Manager at Google, overseeing Streetview North America projects, leading a team of approximately 150 personnel, and managing significant contract negotiations. Mariani holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Illinois State University.
