Joan Douglas-Fry

Joan Douglas-Fry, AICP, currently serves as a Senior Legal Analyst at the City of San José Office of the City Attorney, where responsibilities include supervising the Transactional Legal Analyst team and collaborating with Planning attorneys for legal reviews of various documents. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Environmental Planner/CEQA Project Manager at WRA, Senior Managing Associate at Environmental Science Associates, Senior Project Manager/Environmental Planner at Parsons, and Senior Project Manager at LSA Associates. Joan holds a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from San Francisco State University, a B.A. in Geography with an Environmental Analysis Emphasis from California State University, Fullerton, a Certificate in Land Use and Environmental Planning from UC Irvine, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Rancho Santiago College, complemented by a high school diploma with honors from La Puente High School.
