Khaled Tawfik

Khaled Tawfik has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Khaled is currently serving as the CIO/Director at the City of San José since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Information Officer at the City of Irvine from August 2016 to April 2022. Khaled also held the position of Chief, Information Technology at the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works from 2001 to August 2016. Additionally, Khaled has worked as the Director of Application Development at Supply Access, Inc. from January 2000 to September 2001, and as a Sr. Consultant at EDS Electronic Data Systems from January 1999 to February 2000. Khaled also served as a Sr. Consultant at MCI Systemhouse from January 1997 to January 1999 and as the Engineering Director at Reveal Computer Products from February 1992 to February 1996.

Khaled Tawfik earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from UC Irvine in 2020.
