Lee Wilcox

Lee Wilcox has cultivated a robust career in public administration and economic development since joining the City of San José in January 2005, where roles have included Acting Director of the City Manager's Office of Economic Development and Cultural Affairs, Assistant City Manager, and Chief of Staff. In these capacities, Lee has been instrumental in leading citywide initiatives, managing complex public policy matters, and supporting the City Manager in communications with the Mayor and City Council. Additionally, Lee has served as Budget Director, focusing on strategic development related to pension reform and budget initiatives. Engagement in community leadership is evident through board memberships at Children's Musical Theater San Jose and Destination: Home, alongside a role as Senior Fellow in the American Leadership Forum. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, a B.A. in Political Science from Sonoma State University, and participation in the Bloomberg/Harvard City Leadership Initiative at Harvard University.
