Joe Mankawich has extensive experience in civil engineering and public works, currently serving as an Associate Engineer in the Public Works Department of the City of San Juan Capistrano since September 1998. In this role, Joe manages capital improvement projects for the Water Division, focusing on reservoirs, pipelines, wells, and pump stations. Previously, Joe worked as a Capital Improvement Program Engineer for the City of Hermosa Beach, where responsibilities included formulating the Capital Improvement Program and overseeing significant projects such as the Downtown Revitalization Project and various utility improvements. Joe holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Management from Colorado State University Global, completed between 2013 and 2015, and has an educational background that includes attendance at Loyola Marymount University and a diploma from Santa Monica High School.
