Brian McHenry, MBA, NCSO, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Utilities for the City of San Marcos since April 2024. Previously, Brian was the System Operations Manager at Priority Power Management from November 2021 to April 2024 and held the position of Superintendent of Distribution Dispatch at Homer Electric Association, Inc. from November 2017 to July 2021. Additionally, Brian served as a Council Member for the City of Stanton between June 2016 and November 2017 and worked as Operations Manager for Sharyland Utilities, L.P. from December 2007 to November 2017. Brian's early career includes serving in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2004 in Security Forces, focusing on air-based defense training and law enforcement for military personnel. Brian holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and an MBA from The University of Texas Permian Basin, complemented by a Bachelor's in Applied Technology with a focus on Organizational Management from Midland College.
