Director Of Information Technology at City of San Marcos

Mike Sturm has extensive work experience in the Information Technology (IT) field. Mike began their career at the City of San Marcos as an Operations Manager in 2009, where they assisted the Chief Technology Officer with administrative and managerial duties. In 2010, they were promoted to Assistant Director of Information Technology, where they managed and supervised activities related to the administration of the City's information resources. In 2012, Mike became the Director of Information Technology, where they continued to manage and supervise all IT operations, ensuring customer requirements were met and technology systems were secure. Mike also worked closely with decision-makers in other departments to provide cost-effective technology solutions.

Mike Sturm attended Hutto ISD from 1971 to 1983. Mike then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Concordia University Texas, graduating in 1987.
