Shawn O'Donnell has over two decades of experience in utility management, currently serving as the Backflow and Utility Project Coordinator for the City of San Marcos since June 2000, where responsibilities include creating, organizing, and managing the backflow program. Prior to this role, Shawn worked at New Braunfels Utilities from January 1982 to January 2000 in various capacities, including Crewman in the Water and Waste Water Department, Welder performing fabrication and equipment repair, Mechanics Helper, and in building and grounds maintenance. Educational background includes a GED earned at New Braunfels High in 1985, after attending Canyon High from 1979 to 1983.
